General Questions

What is insurance, and why do I need it?

Insurance provides financial protection against unexpected events such as accidents, property damage, loss, or liability. It helps individuals and businesses recover faster by minimizing financial risk.

We offer a comprehensive range of insurance solutions for both personal and business needs, including: Motorcar Insurance, Motorcycle Insurance, Property Insurance, Travel Insurance, Accident Insurance, CGL Insurance, Engineering Insurance, Marine Cargo Insurance, Surety Bond, HMO Card, Medicinal Insurance, Property Floater Insurance, and Marine Hull Insurance.

The right coverage depends on your specific needs – whether personal, business, or asset protection. Our team can assess your requirements and recommend the most suitable and cost-effective options.

All payments must be made directly to PowerWealth or the accredited insurance provider. We strongly advise clients to transact only through our official channels to ensure policy validity and protection.

Policy Coverage

What factors affect my insurance premium?

Premiums are based on several factors, including:

  • Type and value of the insured asset
  • Risk exposure (e.g., location, usage)
  • Age and condition (for vehicles or property & hmo)
  • Claims history
  • Coverage limits and add-ons selected

Coverage varies depending on the type of insurance. For example:

  • Motor insurance – covers accidents, theft, and third-party liability
  • Property insurance – covers fire, natural disasters, and damages
  • Marine insurance – covers goods in transit
  • HMO (Health Insurance) – covers hospitalization, consultations, laboratory tests, and in some plans, preventive care such as annual check-ups

Our team will guide you through the specific inclusions and benefits of your policy to ensure full understanding of your coverage.

Common exclusions may include:

  • Wear and tear or gradual deterioration
  • Intentional damage or negligence
  • Unauthorized use or illegal activities
  • Specific high-risk scenarios not declared in the policy
  • For HMO: certain pre-existing conditions (subject to terms), non-accredited providers, and procedures not covered under the plan
